Default Wanna read a new book..

Hey just looking for suggestions on a new book to get on my iPad to read when I'm bored.
I am a fan of autobiographies about athletes and such, but will look into any book posted.

Never heard of it. Is it about his life growing up? Or just pro sport? Will look into it

It is a decent read if you can pick it up for cheap.

Somewhat out of left field, but I'd recommend reading Nineteen Eighty-Four, by George Orwell, if you haven't already. One of my favorite books. If I remember correctly, you're in college, right? A book like this will really change your perspective of the world (at least it did for me when I read it during my sophomore year).

I read that book a few years ago in high school. Was a good book!

I tried reading it in grade nine, but in typical fourteen year-old fashion, got ten pages into it and put it down. It was years later that I finally picked it up and read it and boy, what a terrific book it was. Outstanding novel, and certainly one of Orwell's best.

Haha, will definitely look into it.

Books I've read:

No excuses-Kyle Maynard. Best book in my opinion. Amazing story- talks about a kid who had no arms or legs, and still managed to play sports, and was a wrestler(like me) and speaks of how hard the life one on his family and him but never once in his life had an excuse for not being ale to do anything

Michael phelps book- thought it was a great book also, like reading of athletes lives and this was an intesting one to say the least

All i can think of right now (2am haha)

That was my number one recommendation, but there are a couple of others that come to mind.

Great Expectations is one of my favorites, although you really have to be in the right frame of mind to read a Dickens novel. Not a book you can just pick up and read at any moment.

A Tale of Two Cities is terrific as well, although I prefer Great Expectations.

Think about it though, an autobiography of one of the most colorful athletes I've ever scene. I just depends on if you were a fan or not, don't worry about reviews. I'm not a reader , I bet I've only read 3 books and that one actually got my attention, about 15 years ago.. lol..
