Ice Fishing!

I don't know about you guys, but I LOVE ice fishing and this weekend the fun kicks off. Ice Is 3" and I'm ready to fill my freezer with gills, perch and walleye! Next week putting the permanent shack out on my buddies lake! So pumped for Saturday!

I could care less about warm weather. Ill take a solid 2 months of Ice fishing over 65 degrees any time

Just got the okay from iowa dnr yesterday! Went out today for a few hours and got some decent large mouth and some crappie.

Couple buddies of mine went out on Saturday. Ice was too sketchy for my liking at 1.5 inches. That's that only bring your rod, vexilar and waxies kind of ice. They invited me but I weigh a solid 25 pounds more than them. Lol I stayed in. I'll go out in the shallows on 2 inches but won't venture to deeper water until 3 inches. 5 inches were golden, bring the permanent shack and the heater.

Negative. Ice fishing is where it's at. Ill have a freezer full of panfish Sunday and hopefully a few nice walleye filets.

All we caught were a couple rainbows got down to 3 degrees dont no how low with wind chill but beer was freezing

The weather around me had a nice cold streak going and we were about a week away from hitting the lakes. Until this whole week it's been in the 40's and supposed to be 57 degrees on Saturday.

Quite aggrevating.
