Default Simple and quick Photobucket Question

How do you organize photos within an album? I click organize and try to drag a photo next to the card I want it to be next to but no luck. What dumb step am I missing? Thanks in advance!

i don't know the new format but the old format you couldn't do that. it's all alphabetical based on the file name.

Nah it's only alphabetical if that's the option you choose. I had the same issue as you, what I did was move the pic where I wanted then clicked on another folder (on the left), let the pics load & then exited. What I believe I was doing wrong was exiting too quickly, not giving it a chance to "save". Haven't had an issue since... Hopefully that works for you.

^^ Thanks for the above help, but that used to work for me with the old Photobucket interface. Now, I can highlight and grab a card I want to move around in the album, but say I want to place it in between 2 cards, nothing happens- this is where I am stuck at.

The old format you could, you would go to organize section and it would put your album into grid mode, where you then can drag and drop cards around, rearranging them in the album

I am having the same issue. Upload new cards to my PC player album and then want to move them into order and can not. I click organize and then highlight the card and try and click and drag, but card never moves.

Anyone find out how to move cards around in a album??

Tom

Tom, it seems like placing the pic exactly where you like is just not an option anymore, for now at least. I used that feature a lot but with the new photobucket not having that option I believe I'm done with it. I'm in the process of loading my pc pics in a blog which will be my new place to showcase it.

I now understand what you were saying, I couldn't imagine at the time pb eliminating that option. Just recently I've found out that they have.
