movie- the mist, misery, it and christine.

book- gerald's game.

I just picked up the illustrated version of Salem's lot with around 900 copies made at good will for $7.00. I have almost every King book out there and I am not sure what to read next. Misery looks good but Under the Dome is being made into a show so I may go for that.

Also The Running Man and Thinner are two movies that are better than the book.

It's a toss up between Stand By Me and The Shining. I'm talking about the movies; books are a waste of time

I was always a fan of Needful Things, book and movie. One of the little difference between the two happens to be a certain baseball card.

Id go
#1 Shawshank Redemption!!! /still never gets old... 'oh andy!" Reminds me of the Classic- "Alkatraz" w/Eastwood
#2 Stand By Me /just cause it was an all time favorite when I was a kid and I watched it over and over and over....

Never liked Storm of The Century /seemed like alot of build up with little action and I kept waiting for "Helen" from "WINGS" to show up and hook up with the constable (I forget his real name lol)

Agree, Geralds Game was an intense book, pretty good.

I loved the Dark Tower Series.
They were working out a movie deal for the series but I beleive it was put on hold. Would take some extensive CG work to make these movies amazing

anyone mention The Langoliers yet? Dunno about the book but the movie is pretty cool.

Also, The Mist, minus that damn preachy woman.

Though I mentioned Needful Things earlier, I really like this also. First King story I ever read was Apt Pupil. Out of the four novellas in the book three have been made into movies. Two of which were fantastic; Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption also The Body. Apt Pupil was decent. Now if they would only do The Breathing Method.

Took my answer. That movie was very good IMO. A little slow but it's my favorite King movie.
