Default Smartphone cases?

Quick question, which cases are preferred for protection on smartphones? I've seen rubber & plastic ones on some, sure there are others?

I have a Nokia Lumia 920 if that helps any, looking for anything that will protect the phone from drops and possibly some type of screen cover to prevent scratching.

Thanks for any ideas/suggestions

Don't buy Otterbox! Too damn expensive. Just go to MonoPrice.com and buy the cheap Chinese made stuff.

I had a 3GS with this case which goes for $35.

I upgraded to a 4 and bought this case from MonoPrice.com for less than four bucks (plus shipping of course). Paid about two bucks for a three pack of screen protectors as well.

They have stuff for iPhones, Galaxy, Galaxy Note, Galaxy SIII, Nexus, Droid, Droid X and Droid X2. For the price of a "name" brand case you can get five or six different styles of cases.

Site is also great for any type of audio or video cables. I've been ordering from them for years and have never had a problem.

So it seems otterbox is the big brand for smartphones, any other brands to look out for?

Thanks
