Default Amber alert issued for missing west Philly girl

please pass along the word. thanks

PHILADELPHIA—State police have issued an amber alert for a child taken from her west Philadelphia school by an unknown woman.
Police said 5-year-old Nailla Robinson was taken from the Bryant School at about 8:50 a.m. Monday by a woman wearing black Muslim-style clothing.
Lt. John Walker told the Philadelphia Daily News that the woman introduced herself as "Tiffany," but her signature in the school visitor log was illegible.
Police discovered that the girl was missing at about 3 p.m. Monday when a caretaker from the child's after-school program came to pick her up.
School district spokesman Francisco Gallard said there appeared to have been a "serious break in procedure."
Police said the child didn't appear to believe she was in any danger, but she's often picked up by different people.

The Pennsylvania State Police has issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Philadelphia Police Department, Philadelphia County.

On January 14, 2013, at approximately 8:50 A.M,. Nailla Robinson, 5 yrs old, 40 inches tall, 35 lbs, medium skin tone, brown eyes and black curly hair, was abducted from the Bryant School located at 6001 Cedar Avenue in Philadelphia. She was abducted by a female wearing black Muslim-style clothing. The abductor's direction of travel and method of transportation are unknown.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police by dialing 911.

It is quite pathetic, but you have to understand. The Philadelphia public school system is completely under-funded, under-staffed, under-everything...

And this particular school is in a very low-income area and probably gets even less attention than the other schools (which get nothing as it is).

I am definitely not justifying, just explaining the situation. It is very sad.

Sounds like it's time to do away with "under-funded, under-staffed, under-everything school systems" since they put children in harms way!!!!!!!!

Children are too trusting. They need to be protected. Where are you Mr. Obama? Who are you going to appoint to take care of this terrible situation? It needs to be done now while it's fresh in everyone's mind.

And no...I'm not kidding. I want things that can harm children to be treated equally and fairly. There is NO excuse for this sort of thing to happen.
