Last new car I bought was a 2006 Scion Xa...been a great little car. I only paid $13k for it brand new and I think it's still worth about $6k? It's got 170,000 miles on it now and i've never done anything to it mechanically other than change the brake pads. Ran Mobile 1 Synthetic in it from day 1, change it every 9k miles or so...still runs like new and gets 35 mpg.

It's still on the original clutch? I bought a new clutch kit for it last year thinking i might need it...new belts and all that sort of thing...but, it's still going so far.

For the money vs. value on a new car...best car I've ever bought.

2002 Pontiac Sunfire - My first and only car. I will drive it into the ground before getting another. - Like others have mentioned. My cards are probably worth more than my car.
