Give it to your daughter. A 14 year old boy should be outside, especially if you live in Florida.

To me, the daughter gets it, generally girls need more room then boys do, but thats just my opinion.

IMO, you can't go wrong with "older kid gets the bigger room"

if the girl has a problem with it, then ask the boy if he would rather have the larger room. OR if he would like the smaller room and a big flatscreen TV.

bet he takes the smaller room and the TV.

I agree with this ^^^^. And to those who say the girl should get it because she is a girl, I thought women wanted equal rights!! LOL.

that was something i brought up to them. they have been sharing the room and they have a pretty nice sized flat screen in there and i said whoever wants the smaller room can have the larger tv, neither seem to care though. my son is on the computer at night and rarely watches tv. at night my daughter watches tv every night but says she doesnt care about the tv as long as she gets the big room

well, you're in a bit of a pickle then.
does the boy even care? if not, keep your daughter happy with the big room

if they both want the large room, have them write a 500 word essay on why they want it. scan them, make a thread and a poll on who should get the large room and tell them it is out of your hands, we will decide for you. then they/you can blame Blowout.

short story:

in my family, there were two boys and a girl. i am the middle child

my brother and i had to share a relatively tiny room with two full beds, and a full bathroom in the hallway.
the youngest sibling, my sister, had a huge master bedroom with a jucuzi and closets and a queen bed and skylights, and a rather large (32" CRT) TV.

my brother and i always hated her having the big room and all the space. but she always got her way, and when she didn't, she would lie, cheat and steal in order to. she was/is a spoiled little brat.

she is now a heroin addict and lives on the streets of camden, nj. seriously.

moral of the story: never give your daughter everything she wants, cause she'll always want and cry for more.

Oldest wins that's how we do it in my house I was the youngest so I got the smallest room when we moved but as my sisters went to college I moved and got the bigger room as they left a d it was quite awesome moving on up. So give it to your son.
