Ever win anything big at the casino? Seen somebody win big?
Heading to the casino tomorrow night, a little get away with the fiancé. Since we have had our third child 10 weeks ago me and the miss's have not been out yet by ourselves. So before she goes back to work I figured I would take us out for the night and gamble.

If you have any awesome stories I'd love to hear them

For instants I won $1145 about 8 months ago on a $1 machine playing 5 lines at a buck a piece and hit 18 of 20 women on the screen.

Year or 2 back a guy won the giant $150k jackpot on wheel of fortune but hours before he won it he had gotten thrown out for being to drunk. I do not believe he was able to claim the win since he had been booted out just hours before.

Don't gamble much, but was in vegas a few years back. Ended up hitting the revolving jackpot on a nickel machine at about 2 AM, lol. Made my trip!

Ive had a few decent hand payouts in my gambling career. I hit $30k on a $5 video poker with a royal flush. Many moons ago I hit $12,500 on a 25 cent video slot playing max!!

The biggest payout ive seen is on another forum I belong to. $1mill hit on a $5k slot

Played in a random poker tournament downtown at the Plaza. Sat at a table and played against Penn Jillette and Clonie Gowen. Added bonus, finished 2nd in the tournament.

My birthday is December 30 and for my 21st I flew out to Vegas for my birthday and New Years. There wasn't too much gambling involved but I'm sure there are some awesome stories that could (but won't) be told.

A friend of mine each got mailings for a free toaster oven, I went and got mine, by the time she got there, they were out, so they gave her a $15 voucher to bet, she went to play video poker and wasn't paying too much attention, before she knew it, she was up $200...she started playing more, ended up winning $2500 on the night...all because they ran out of toaster ovens...

I was in Detroit for a wedding, maybe 12 years ago. I had been living in Chicago but still had a Michigan ID. So we went to the Motown casino or whatever it was (the MGM one I think?). My buddy, a first timer, hit about $4K on a slot. I told him to get the cash and we'd round up the crew and go. No point in blowing in on our first day in town.

Well, some staff must have heard me because in about 2 minutes these two security guards were on me. A man and a woman. Total amateurs. I had a beer in my hand and the first thing they said was, "Do you have ID for that?" I was like, "For my beer? Yes. But considering that your bartender has sold me 6 already it's a bit late to ask, don't you think?"

But I gave them my license anyway. I was legal to drink so I didn't care. They started quizzing me and I hesitated on my zip code (like I said, I had been living in Chicago for 2 years). They were like, "A-ha, gotcha!." So then they made me sign my name on a napkin like 6 times to compare it to my license signature. Like they were detectives or something. At this point, my friends were back and I said, "Ok, fine, we'll leave."

But there were two problems. They 1) said "Oh, no, only you have to leave, your friends stay," which was creepy and 2) wouldn't give me my driver's license back. So I said, "We all want to leave this craphole but I'm not going anywhere without my driver's license." So they threatened to call the police. When I said, "Please do" they looked at each other and kind of panicked. I walked over to the nearest service desk and asked them to call the police. They asked why and I said that someone had stolen my driver's license. They got a manager and then like 10 security guards came over, the first two apologized, gave me my license and the manager apologized but said we had to leave. Which was fine. We took the $4K and partied the hell out of Windsor.

One of my good friend's father is, well, quite rich and has a 56' yacht and he took five of us once when we were 18/19 on a Bahamas cruise that sailed through Nassau/Paradise Island for the last three nights (and a lot of other awesome small island stops). First night we were there we all decided we were going to play some blackjack, and, well, the cards were not with us that night. We convinced the floor manager to open us up a table and in about 45 minutes to an hour, between the five of us, we'd lost about $800 total.

Next night, one of said friends was belligerently drunk at a table and was egging people on saying things like "THE COUNT IS HIGH, BET IT ALL!" to people and urging people to double down as they were trying to play their hands. The rest of us were just standing and watching but he got us all kicked out.

I did at least see Patrick Ewing and his family there (they had a monster 120+' boat) and had him autograph a twenty dollar bill for a die-hard Knicks fan friend of mine.

Another friend shacked up with a girl at the hotel on our last night, knowing we'd be leaving early in the morning, like 5AM for our return trip. It got to about six and we decided he was on his own so we went ahead and fired up the engines and prepared to depart, we were untying the lines to the boat as he came stumbling up. He was literally about 10 minutes from being stranded in Nassau and having to buy his own plane ticket home.

They serve free alcolhol at casinos so nobody should be able to remember their stories. I did pay some blackjack between 2 hookers a few years ago at the riviera though. I thought I won money that night but only had like 7 dollars when I woke up the next morning and it burned when I took a pee for weeks afterwards. Damn herpes on the cards is my guess.

3100 while blackout drunk at the local casino in Milwaukee. Woke up feeling awful to 3 of my friends telling me to check my pockets. That was one of the coolest feelings!

Oh yeah. I lived in there for a span of about 6 months... As in the pit bosses knew us so well they'd invite us out to water street to get liquored up. Some fun times. I made probably around 8k in those 6 months.. Was awesome.

My brother was playing in Bobby's room at the Bellagio. If you play there you can order anything you want to eat from anywhere in the Bellagio. I was playing 1-2 and I told my brother I was hungry. He ordered me lobster tacos and buffalo wings. So when they were ready I went into Bobby's room and ate my dinner. They were very good! The one notable name in the room that everyone knows was Doyle Brunson. While I was eating the Thunder Heat game was on so they stopped the game and everyone was watching because it was the end of the game and they all had so many bets, prop bets going. It was a fun experience!

Nothing too big, but I went to MoheganSun Casino once when i lived in NY. I got 10 $1 tokens for the slot. Within 10 minutes of being there, My 3rd pull, I hit $350, not much, but I stopped and just watched all my friends. Then went skiing with my wife to Lake Tahoe. We played blackjack one day, I won about $500 in about 2 1/2 hrs. I hit alot of double downs. It was nice cause it paid for our skiing for the trip.
