I'm looking to pick up a baseball game in Atlanta this summer.
The Braves tix don't sell individually to the public till Feb 4th. My questions are...what is the best, safest, cheapest way to get these tickets? -EBay -Ticket window -other ticketing site I'm looking for 4 tickets and am hoping for best available. 1st base side behind dugout preferably, 4 tickets total. Is $150 per ticket reasonable thinking? Is that going to get me good, really good, or great seats? I only do MLB once a season so I am willing to fork over $600 just never did the purchasing. Any info provided is appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

Join like their email list and some teams allow special members (those who signed up for the list) to buy tickets through them early. I am on the list for the Pistons and this works. Just an idea though...

^this. Sign up for their email subscription and you'll more than likely get an email when tickets are going on sale or get a presell code emailed to you.
Other than that, I just buy tickets for any event off Ticketmaster/Livenation/Stubhub, or if I live nearby, the box office window. I've never messed with buying off eBay or Craigslist. Subscribing to email lists and checking out ticketmaster ahead of time to see when tickets will go on sale for an event, I've always gotten good seats at regular price. |
