Freakiing Out!!!! - Sandwich or Burrito?????
I didn't bring my lunch today so I'm either going to Subway or Moe's. Where should I go?
|
Moe's? So that is a burrito joint? We don't have that one up here.
Without even knowing how good Moe's is...I can pretty confidently say get that over Subway. Subway sucks, IMO. |
I do eat Subway from time-to-time, but most of the time when I think of it, it makes me nauseous :(
|
Moes without a doubt. Joey bag of donuts all day.
I have a friend that works at subway so I get any kind of sub made and for free, so needless to say I'm kind of sick of their subs |
It is a tie! I say flip a coin.
|
Subway and you will be hungry before you leave the store.
Moe's all the way. Homewrecker with extra chips. |
If you go to Moe's take a picture of your burrito. With names like Homewrecker it should be interesting.

less interesting than you think. good food though. |
Welcome to Moe's!

Here is a link to their menu. Welcome to Moes | Moes Southwest Grill | Our Menu I've been a big fan since the first time I ate there about 10 years ago. It has grown tremendously in the south. I've never been to Chipotle, but I assume it is similar. There is one called Tijuana flats that is similar atmosphere. I probably go 4-5 times per year. Free entree for your birthday is nice. I believe a few of their menu names have changed because of lawsuits. |
Had Moes today myself! Steak home wrecker, black beans, rice, guac and sour cream. Green tomatillo sauce for my chips. Subway eats it.

It just means guac and sour cream. The Joey Bag of Donuts only has one of the two. the tortillas are pretty large and I get most of the toppings, which challenges the novice wrapper. The used to have one called The Triple Lindy (remember Rodney Dangerfield?) I didn't realize until just now they didn't serve it anymore. Here are some of their other names. go with the sandwich
|
Lets get one thing straight, Subway is not a sandwich shop. You mainly get bread. Go find an old fashion deli for a sandwich.

I agree with this |

I love Moe's so Chipotle must be the death of me. I'm a hot sauce junkie, but I don't care for smoked (chipotle) pepper sauces. Will I still like the restaurant? |

I used to have a friend that worked at Chipotle. She would always hook me up so I had no idea how pricey it was. She wasn't there one day so I had to pay for the burrito, guacamole and chips and a drink. It came out to like $12! I immediately got over it once I had to pay for it :D |

That seems to be most places, anytime I go to lunch it turns into a $12.00-$15.00 meal. |
No Moe's in AZ either. Just watch Undercover Boss if you want to see what Moe's is :)
|
Burritos over Subway any day of the week.
|
I love Subway's Italian BMT.
Now I want one. |
