Default Anybody else with anxiety?

I have had general anxiety for nearly a year now. Anybody else feel something like I do?

I was looking forward to the start of the season for the majority of the past 3 months. As I was going to bed last week I ask myself why do we watch the game? Why do we appreciate it? To win championships?

Then, for the past week I have not had that same energy towards it I did the first three months.

Could it be because I've been away from it for several months?

I'm only 14 so I am having somewhat of a difficult time with this and would appreciate and help anyone may have.

Thanks!!!

It's a phase, most people go through it. You're going to question a lot of things that you did when you were younger. It is part of the maturing process, it shouldn't last too long.

Hopefully. I appreciate it, thank you!

I had pretty bad anxiety for a while when I was younger, but through various means my anxiety was pretty well cured.

Last time I experienced major anxiety was about seven and a half years ago, when I threw up thrice on the night before my wedding! Was not a fun night .

Man, that sounds familiar. I had a bout of anxiety/depersonalization at the end of my sophomore year in college, two years ago. It's brutal.

Just try to stay busy, make sure you are talking to people as much as possible, both about the issue and just about other things to keep your mind off of it, and hopefully it will pass. It's scary man and hard to describe, but it should pass in time, most likely.

Wow, that's harsh. Hope it came out O.K. though!

I'll try. Thanks a lot. It can't pass soon enough.

edit::: Also, I think about something that would be fun, like getting a new high end card, then another thought comes in, saying no, that card doesn't look good, you don't want that. That card is dumb, everything you do is boring and stupid.

I'll say this: the wedding night went a hell of a lot better!

Wait, you're fourteen. Should I make that joke?

Yeah, I should .

I'd say I'm mature enough to get that joke.

I have social anxiety. I hate giving speeches, whenever I have to give one I feel like blacking out and get real nerves and loss of words.. Wal-mart grocery shopping gets me every time. Just knowing I'm going to be walking through that damn store for over an hour makes me sick to my stomach. I just tend to stick to my small town living and when my anxiety really kicks in I stay in the house and lay down and try to calm myself. I've actually had jobs lined up where I made it past the first interview and was called back in for a second interview and walked out in the middle of my interview because my anxiety was so bad. Regardless of how much money my anxiety was way more powerful.

That's terrible. I haven't had anything like that but can imagine it's extremely difficult to cope with.
