Default Josie's Advice Column
I am giving out advice, free of charge. Unless the advice is so good you feel the need to tip me. I accept the following payment: Packs of cards randomly selected from your box breaks and/or crisp, fresh $1 bills or loonies.


Please note: While I do have a degree in addiction studies, the advice I am about to give you must be applied at your discretion. I am not responsible for what you do after it is given. I have no way of determining an outcome because I am unable to take into account your delivery of the advice when applied in the real world.

Please ask away...

Also, please include if you would like Cookie-cutter or hard core advice. I don't want to hurt anyones fragile feelings.

Heres my dilemma... currently the wife and kids are at the grocery and I have probably an hour or so b4 they return... my question is should i rub one out while they are gone.... Thanks in advance

I have a "friend"who is having difficulties with his marriage. His wife seems to be more interested in going out with her sisters and friends than spending time as a couple with him. Most Friday nights and Saturday nights consist of him getting home from work an her taking off to go out drinking with while he stays home with the kids. He works the early shift so by the time she gets home he is already asleep. This seems to be the same thing happening week after week, month after month. So I guess my question is: should we have pizza or Chinese for supper tonight?

The only women I've ever seen work for fresh $1 bills are removing their clothes for them...oh, wait, I see where you later said the visual stimulation wasn't free...

Good question. I always go with pizza.

I have a small 1 story house with 3 beds and 2 bathes but I have no basement or garage for storage just a small shed.. I'm married with 1 child and another on the way. My question is do you have any ideas to minimize the space my huge card collection and other crap takes up? Thank you

Congrats on your impending arrival! I hope you are spoiling your wife rotten.

Yes, you have several viable options:

1. send it all to me
2. move to a house with more storage and another room as your children won't want to share a room forever

In all serionsness, how are you storing your card right now? Binders, etc?

I'm at my BIL's for my nieces 2nd bday. I've requested to leave at 11 am tomorrow am so that I can be home for the SB. How do I get my in-laws into gear in the morning, because they WILL run late? Mind you this is their first granddaughter that lives a 5+hr drive away from them...

Mostly shoe boxes a few binders, some smaller boxes 300 counts and what not... keep commons in the boxes they came in... I have about 2 4 row monster boxes and 22 shoe boxes (2row).. I have 4 big sterilite plastic tubs I am attempting to store it all in... I also got rid of about 100,000 commons in the past couple years... my goal is to not have the kids share a room at all

Ps thanks for the congrats and my wife gets to stay at home with the most amazing 2 year old girl in the world, I consider that spoiled. I treat her good too if that counts.

Edit: Don't get me wrong I know being a stay at home mom is far from being a cake walk...
