Good Laptop for $300 ish?? Any (good) advice appreciated :)

My wife is starting a home bussiness and we are looking to pick up a good laptop computer to help with that... we wouldn't be doing any gaming or much of anything else besides blowoutcards and eBay

Would appreciate it if anyone knows of any good sells going on right now of a decent unit.

Nothing too powerful, but for eBay and BO it's more than fine.

We ended up spending a bit more ($430) for a HP 2000- 2b89WM Notebook PC.... its pretty nice for the price~

Hope you enjoy, both hp laptops i had messed up terribly. Got one 2-3 years ago and won't work anymore. I recommend check if they overheat really easily! I had mine on one day and it got very very hot and would burn me if i touched a certain part, and i went to move the screen and the entire back corner snapped off where it overheated, and metal pieces fell out all burnt and black. So make sure if you have any problems call hp and whatnot

hmmm... thats rough. I have actually owned one other HP Laptop and it treated me great

That played a part in us getting the HP instead of a Gateway which would have been substantially cheaper. Shouldn't be a problem.... hopefully!

I'm running an Acer Google Chromebook, but it's pretty sparse outside of internet- or Google-based programs. For 200, though, it's hard to complain!
