One of my employees, who is 25 years old, said he was upset because last VD his girlfriend and him agreed not to get each other anything. Of course, she got him some chocolates and he got her nothing. He couldn't understand why she was mad! Ahh, to be young and dumb again..... instead of just dumb.

My wife just received her flowers at work. Total surprise to her, along with the card she got this morning that was waiting for her once she was out of the shower. Those "Thank You's" and "You're so sweet" comments are all I need in return. She's the most deserving person I know, and I'm smart enough to realize that couldn't be more fortunate than to have had her pick me to spend the rest of her life with.

Even if your girl says she doesnt want anything...you need to get something or your in the dog house...this is the one day of the year not to be cheap. Even if you dont think you should spend money on it...she still does. Also though if this is your first year with your significant other dont go too over board or you wont be able to one up it the next year lol.

Well, that is just insane. I don't need a special day to give my man a steak and bj! I do that for all throughout the year because I care! Isn't it enough that I stay home and raise his children, cook, clean, sex him up, handle the finances, remeber his moms birthday, work weekends, take care of the dog, do yard work, let him coach wrestling, etc, etc. now, bring me a White Russian!

Wife got a handwritten note folded into the shape of a heart. I tucked that into a funny "bow chicka bow wow" card with two handmade coupons: 2 30-minute 2-handed massages and 1 $100 gift card using MY budgeted allowance.

My 2-year old son got a 5 pack of Valentine's Day Hot Wheels and a card from his big brother in Heaven.

My wife requests a hand written note for all occasions. She doesnt care for presents as she buys what she wants, when she wants. But the hand written letter is a must. Its not asking for much so I spend some time writing up stuff that makes her feel good.

I added in flowers, a giant cookie and pastries this year!! We are having breakfast for dinner tonight lol

Crazy cause it's the same with me and my wife. She does her shopping and gets what she wants throughout the year. She loves when I write her letters, so I do that for every holiday. I did make some reservations for a nice night out on the town and even have a baby sitter set up for our little one.
