Default Pot Cops

I am excited to see what this show is like. I guess it is a miniseries on Discovery about cops in Humboldt County going after pot growers. Since I love cop reality shows like Alaska state troopers or COPS(etc.) and since I live in Humboldt it is an awesome combination. Maybe it will suck who knows.

Here is a link with a video.

Hopefully it shows what an incredible waste of resources (both physical and monetary) the failed war on drugs has been and always will be.

Hopefully majority of people watching it realize the premise of the show is a waste of time and the non harmful drug is finally legalized

Only took like 20 minutes for this to turn into a "legalize pot" thread as opposed to a thread about a TV show. Not bad.

While I agree with the statements, it's not the cops fault. They still have to do their job. But again I agree with the comments.

Meanwhile hundreds of tons of Heroin, Cocaine & Meth continue to reach the streets, but they 'tweak' their Quota by busting harmless Pot growers, just another example of how clueless and unresourceful the DEA really is!

I wasn't commenting on that. I know that smoking anything is harmful.

I simply think the investment (drug war) fails to provide any useful return.

This is not a Marijuana discussion, I agree with you but that is not what this thread is about.

Maybe true. Maybe isn't.

Still has nothing to do with whether a TV show sucks or not.

Did not say it was, my point is the misuse of Govt. money and resources to 'tweak' the success of their 'War on Drugs' by concentrating on the easiest and safest target.

Furthermore foolish shows such as this one is just another attempt to 'Con' the public into believing they are really accomplishing something, which IMO they are NOT! I really have no opinion on the legalization of POT whatsoever.
