Default Sinister

So, I rented this out of the Red Box.

Creeped the F- out of me, it's a legit scary movie. Really well done and the music is incredible. Most horror films now are cookie-cutter, yawners but this one was really, really good.

For $1.19, you can't go wrong.

So you're one of those guys who rents dvd's off of those red boxes...... that explains things.

But yeah, I rented it on demand, and didn't have to waste $10 in gas, and all the trouble.... and having to look at those guys waiting in line for that red box smh oh yeah, so I rented it, and it was great! Actually a scary movie! Second favorite "actually scary" movie after the movie 1408

If you liked Sinister, i'd recommend you check out Insidious and Drag me to Hell, if you haven't already.

Critics are usually too hard on comedies and especially hard on horror films. Looks pretty good to me.

Loved 1408, definitely underrated.

Big fan of this flick. Legit creepiness and creative design on the monster. Opening scene just sends a chill down your spine where they're slowly lifted up.

It did have that Insidious feel to it, which is probably why I loved both movies. Looking forward to Insidious 2.

Definitely not the blood and gore that you get with Hostel and Saw. More atmospheric, and creepy imagery.

This is probably one of the only newer horror movies to actually freak me out. It's not really your "pop out" scary. It's more like "just sit back while I mind f*ck you" scary. Great plot and great acting. If you are looking for a good scary movie, def check this one out!

Ethan Hawke is the main star and yes it is new.

As a big horror fan for life I thought it was decent. I kind of figured out the ending half way through the movie. It did have good music. I'd rate it 3 stars out of 5.

I saw it in the theaters and it was really good. I prefer the more psychological horror movies, though, so this was right up my ally.

Just saw it... not impressed nor disappointed. Had a couple jump moments and a minor creepiness. Not a bad watch if you have time and enjoy this sub genre of horror. 3/5 Stars

To me it was nowhere near as scary as the Paranormal Activity movies (lol, I've only seen the first one, I'm too chicken shizz to watch the rest) but it was very well made. Not cookie cutter but a little predictable. I definitely recommend it.

Oh & Redbox effing rules! Cant beat watching a fairly newly released movie for $1.27.
