Looking for a trusting board member that is heading to Vegas anytime soon. I will be there in March but fear it will be a bit late.
After watching Tiger this weekend, I feel better then ever at his chances to take all 4 majors. I need to make a future bet. I have checked odds on line but am confidnet there are better out in the desert,. Anyways I can paypal $100 on him taking all four at the best odds you can find. I can toss a few bucks your way for the errand or some cards for your troubles. LMK and thanks fidrych shadetre@bloomer.net |

I am headed there this Friday morning and coming home next Monday after the Super Bowl. I won't mind looking for those odds for you. Just let me know.
Matt Edit: You don't have to pay me any extra either, or pay me ahead of time. If I can find some good odds, (you might tell me what you're hoping for), I'll pick up your ticket and pm you when I get home. You can send funds after that, and I can mail you your ticket. |

Sounds good. 6 to 1 or higher would be great. Some casinos will run deals this weekend that for every $20 wagered on a future bet you can get a shirt. LMK how it works out and thanks in advance.

A hundy would be great.
last time i was in vegas for a super bowl was giants/bills. We drove nonstop for 28 hours, specifcally to bet the giants and the under. If norwood makes the kick is bills and the over. I was in Ceasars when he missed it. Made 5 figures then blew it all before I left--drank an obscene amount of alcohol. lmk how it goes fidrych |

fidrych,
I was able to pick up that wager ticket on Tiger winning all 4 legs at 6 to 1 for you. I had to get it at Planet Hollywood Casino though. I hope that's okay. They have made that place look really nice. WOW! I was pumped when I picked up their golf sheet and saw 7 to 1 on that wager. But when I went to place the bet, it was down to 6 to 1. I'll pm you with how you want to handle taking possession of this ticket. Matt |

I was at Planet Hollywood last year and it looks really nice. They did a great job remodeling it! I'm going back to Vegas next weekend, but probably not to Planet Hollywood. I've never bet on golf, maybe I'll have to look into it.

I stayed at Paris for the first time. It will be my last as it's just outdated in my opinion. The tvs for instance in the sports bars are the old round tubed tvs. Only one small flat screen.
I spent most of my time in Ballagio, (nearly every night in the Fontanna Room), and Hard Rock. I was impressed with Planet Hollywood though. |

Here's a link to the club I was in called Body English. Check out the gallery pictures from February 3rd. That's when I was there in the VIP section and Miss Patrick was next to me nearly the whole time. They obviously thought I was someone else. For those of you that prefer or don't mind staying off Strip, try the Red Rock. Built in 2006, away from the hustle and bustle, has a great casino and sports book. Get a room with a view of the canyon.

Seams as though there a more then a few of us that have been to Vegas. Thought I would start a thread giving everyone a chance to tell a story about one of their visits. Since I started this, I have a few and I will start with this one.
A very long time ago (I am 44) I was at Ceasars--one of my favorite places on the strip. Me and a buddy are cruising through the table area and theres Charles Haley playing blackjack. Some of you younger guys might not remember him, but he was an absolute stud defensive lineman for the niners and cowboys. Two things jumped out at me: 1) He looked almost lean and long on TV (sean jones like), but in person was absolutely massive 2) But the one thing I will never is that as his right hand rested on the table accepting his cards for blackjack his left hand sat casually on his knee where 4 of his fingers held a gigantice super bowl ring. He didnt have one on his thumb but he did have another ring to put there. The guy has 5 super bowl rings!!! And not in HOF by the way and maybe never will. As a cowboy fan I was in awe, but there was no way I was going to approach him. Ill never forget and it probably happened over 25 years ago. |

When I go for a guys' trip I find that we staying off the strip a lot more than we used to. Last time I went we stayed at the Tuscany, which is near the Flamingo just off the strip. Its got a nice little setup. The casino isn't too big but we walked or drove to the bigger one
It ended up being a lot cheaper than staying on the strip which left more money for lots of extra Vegas activities
