Default DC shows my package DLVD but to different city?!?

I bought some cards on eBay and the package is stating it was DLVD in Columbus which is 80 miles west of me. I emailed the seller asking what address he sent to. Seller has 100% feedback with over 2000 transactions. My confirmed address in paypal is my correct address and I'm 99% sure it's the only address I've used. DC shows it was DLVD Saturday 2/23. Anyone else run into something like this?

Hopefully the person who received it is honest & sends it back undeliverable as addressed.

However, during Christmas time I shipped a card to North Adams MA about 1 hour away from where I live. They shipped the card and it was out for delivery in Virginia.

USPS caught the mistake & rushed the card back to North Adams. It was there the next day.

May want to have the seller trace the package & See what is going on with it at the post office.

Thanks I have emailed the seller and waiting his response. DC says delivered and not out for delivery so I'm assuming it has been dlvd to the wrong address. If it is a mishap on USPS will the seller have a charge back if I have to file a claim? My confirmed address is correct in PayPal so I'm wondering if I don't receive it that I would win a dispute if I needed to file one. I've been lucky enough to never have had to file one before so I don't know much about it.

It is best to talk to the seller first & have the seller check with the post office.

File a claim only if the seller tries to push you off, or responds to you in a combative way. You said the seller has really good feedback, so if he has good customer service skills I'd only file the claim if he does nothing about trying to get the card back to you.

Keep us updated.

Edit: You have 30 days or so to file a claim. So he has time to respond. And, yes...You'd win the claim if you filed one.

Thanks for the info. I am going to wait to talk to the seller before doing anything.

The cards showed up today. Must have been a mixup and marked as DLVD when they were not but I got them safely.
