Here I am with my cat, nubbins. She was very supportive when I was going through my battle. She passed away last Feb. She was the most beautiful cat I have ever seen.

This is our dog, Sadie, with the boys:

She is the neediest dog I have ever met. Needs cuddle time nightly and is allergic to everything.

This pic. is from last summer. The St. Bernard(Bernie) was 14 and the Rott(Samson) is 13. The St. Bernard passed away last fall. We had him since he was a 6 month 80lb puppy and got the Rott as a 8 month old puppy because the wife said the St. Bernard was lonely during the day when we were gone.

Here's my guy, his name is Stanley (after the Stanley Cup, he has a Red Wings dog tag), I had been planning on naming the dog I got Stanley (was looking for one during a Cup run a few years back) and the humane society had already named him Stanley, I though it was fate so I got him.

He's a 3.5 year old Lab/Shepherd mix, 92 lbs at his last vet visit, all muscle, dude is a freaking tank.

The last picture is from the day I got him at 7 weeks old and just a measly 10 lbs

I understand what you mean. My dog is about 75 pounds but she literally has veins running up her arms. I wouldnt want to be anyone on the receiving end if she ever got ticked off. Unfortunately I did not know here when she was a puppy. My family and I always joke that all she did at the shelter was work out like guys in prison because shes so jacked

They had puppies on Christmas eve 1 1/2 yrs ago and here they are in the heat lamp

And then in light

One baby up close

A little bit older

We sold all of them except one, which we gave to my mother in law.
And just last night she gave birth to her second liter. 8 puppies, she had 7 the first time
I will get the new pups pics up soon.

After a ridiculous number of pets - 20+ dogs (family bred poodles), hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, lizards and birds - I'm down to one dog, Beau.
He's almost 15 and been in my life longer than not.
Might be old, but don't dare try and take his food from him while he's hoarding

I hear ya man. Dozer (white english bulldog) was a "Santa" gift to the kids 3 years ago. He was only 2 when he passed. He was so good and gentle with our kids. I'm not 100% sure what happend but the girls had left their bedroom doors open and we believe he ate a Barbie leg. Sometime during the night he got up and started pacing in our bedroom like he was choking on something trying to throw up but couldn't. I reached my hand down his throat trying to dislodge whatever it was that was blocking his airwave. Couldn't. I literally watched him take his last breathe and couldn't do anything about it. Probably one of the worst days to remember in my lifetime. That and explaining to my kids why their dog wasn't no longer around and listening to them cry for hours about their dog dieting was tough. We had him lined up for breeding as well to another white female for $800 plus first pick of the male. Just wish we could have gotten one pup off him before he passed away.

My family and I made the difficult decision that it was best to put my old Lab to sleep. He was an outside dog - loved to roam around our island, through the woods, etc. That was his thing. He was 16 at the time, had become arthritic, couldn't walk real well, plus had some other stuff doing on. We didn't want him going through the icy woods and falling and us not knowing what had happened. We felt the risk of his well-being was too much.

It was my 21st birthday (I kid you not). Father and I brought him to the vet. Sat with him on the floor. They shaved his front leg. Gave him the injection and I just held him til he was asleep. Father and I balled like babies. Probably the hardest thing I've ever been through. Easily.

Dogs are one of the best things on the earth - I mean that.

Couple more pics I found.

Cutest little pile of fur when he was a puppy. Fell asleep eating the toilet paper haha

And when he was about a year old. He only humped my buddy Tyler for some weird reason he would ONLY hump him none of my other friends haha

Heres mine, emily. The day i adopted her was one of the biggest days all year. I walked out of the building and had this weird feeling and walked back in. She was the last puppy there. She came with hip problems and a sideways kneecap on her left leg. After we adopted her, she was on medication for a small skin problem. Had an allergic reaction and was in the hospital for 2 months. Later she got surgey and we had to do physcial therapy which included her biting viciously while we exercized her leg...i would often wear oven mitts or lacrosse gloves,

She is like 3 now..and has greyed a little on her face since. She is still thr same size even though she was expected to be 50 lbs. shes part border collie/part rat terrier. I guess she got the terrier size.

Shes is one of the best things to happen to me.

I have profound respect for people who love animals, but I have an even greater respect for people who not only love animals but that also adopt those in need. You did a great thing. She is beautiful and I'm glad to hear she means so much to you. That's awesome, seriously.
