Default What kind of relics would you like to see in cards?

So I came across a Todd Helton base card that was damaged, so I decided to cut some hair off of a wig that looks like his hair and place it in the card! Turned out pretty sweet Anyway, that got me thinking, what odd types of relics would you like to see in cards? Feel free to make it PG-13 if you really want

pieces of the players expired contracts on one side, auto on the other. Maybe a booklet type. One lucky person gets the piece where the player signed PLUS another auto on the other part of the book.

I'd love to see this happen too.

Or super rare relics?. Nothing single colored allowed, MUST be game used ONLY....should really limit the number of relic cards out there.

i agree with you guys, they should limit them a little. I personally like them, as you can see from my sig, but that is probably because I grew up with them and wasn't around during the 90's when inserts were the big thing. I would like to see rare inserts instead of lame 1 color nobodys.

I like this idea. It'd be super cool to have part of a contract, and like you said that one lucky person gets the cut auto! Great idea!

Not a bad idea, may become a problem if the cleats are tiny or metal

I'd love to hit the "prime" part of that. The piece right between the legs, behind the jewels and before the buns. The sweet spot.

Actual Game Lineup Cards (one's posted in dugout, have the MLB game # along with date etc.) they could have specific players signatures with some being signed by all the players.

Have them come as 'Box Toppers' one per case, with the multi-signature ones having the 'highest' odds. 162 Games with a lineup card per team, gives you plenty to add to product.

Thats a sweet idea! So are you saying they put the full lineup card in as a topper?

Yes, their about the size of the 'cabinet' cards they put as box toppers in Allen & Ginter. I suppose you could have some as 'Cut' cards maybe put them in booklet cards with the respective teams ballpark in the background.

I guess you could do alot of different things with them, but I would prefer the entire lineup card myself.

Real line up cards would not fit as a box topper. They would have to be redeemed.

I think he sort of means like that but it'd be from an actual game and written by the manager. I mean that'd be a true piece of the game if that'd happen.

Oh great! Another redemption lol. Jk. I actually have a few lineup cards and like you said, they are way bigger than a "box topper".

Those are owned by MLB and are very costly, topps couldn't ever afford it.

Authentic game used to start.

How about a Morganna game worn T-shirt from when she ran on the field to kiss Pete Rose?

Relic cards featuring slices of the fake Pete Rose 4192 bats that he sold to fund his gambling habit.
