Still looking to buy one, anybody know any stores that have them in stock or have pre-orders? I can't beleive that they are still completely sold out in stores.

I live in Upstate NY and I have'nt seen a Wii system in stock in a store in at least 6 months ...

I have been looking for one for a friend. Sams Club seems to be getting them every few weeks. Our Miejer had them Sunday but by the time I saw the ad they were gone.

Wish I would of known! Had 2 before xmas, sold the other one to a friend. I'll check locally, they seem to get them in fairly often around here.

Where do you buy them? Beacause I live in such a busy area (Bergen country right next to the George Washington Bridge and NYC) so it is always sold it when I check out bestbuy or something like that.

Try gamestop around 11am or whenever they get their UPS shipments, same for walmart. Circuit city rumored to have them sunday morning.

Toys R Us is supposed to have them Feb 10 as our next shipment. Not sure the quantities that we will be receiving at each store though. Had 30 on Friday and sold out in 3 hours.

We seem to get them pretty regularly in Central Illinois. My wife had no problem getting us one and she and her mom were at Best Buy one day and they had so many they were essentially asking people at the door if they wanted one.

If you do get one, I highly recommend MLB Power Pros. Probably the most addicting baseball game I've played since the original Baseball Stars!

I bought mine at Best Buy here in Lansing. Granted for mine (wifes xmas present) I was out at 4:30 am with my full duck gear to keep me warm, but others got there within 20 min of the store opening and were able to get one. I also know people who walked into Target and they had them in stock.

I was able to get one last week at a local GameStop. They do not advertise on their website if they have them in stock but typically they do. I did not have to buy the $500 bundle just the $250 base console system. Ended up spending another $200 for games and controllers though. It is a great system for a family gaming system. My almost 4 year-old can even pick up the controller and drive monster trucks with ease.

Try a gamestop -- ask them when they'll be getting them in etc...

I did that in Nov and the girl told me they'd be in Wednesday -- I stopped by Wednesday and they were there.

Checked at a gamestop yesterday (always on the look out for more DDR games - also a cheap guitar hero setup - no luck on those ones) and they had about 8 Wii's in stock. Refurbished units, but heck, they work.

When I bought mine I used a tracker site like Nintendo Wii Tracker - Find Nintendo Wii In Stock Online or Nintendo Wii In Stock Tracker - NowInStock.net They check online retailers every few minutes and show when they are in stock.
