Making corn beef. I decided to give my boys a traditional Irish meal today.

Anyone else having corn beef today?

+1 have never cooked it before and have called asking mom how to cook it right ..best of luck and happy st. patty's day to you n yours!

I'm cooking five pounds right now. Bought about 10 pounds of cabbage. Used about a quarter of the cabbage for cole slaw yesterday.

Will cook some potatoes and cornbread this afternoon.

The kids won't eat it. I did get some though just decided at the last minute not to use it.

If you don't cook it with the cabbage, the flavor isn't going to turn out as it is intended.
