American Horror Story

I'm sure this has been discussed here before, but I just started watching the first season. Holy crap! The show freaks me out!

A terrible plot, relatively awful actors/actresses (save Jessica Lange and Dylan McD), but freaky nonetheless.

Anyone else watch, and if so, has it scared you at all?

Me and the wife liked the first season. We watched some of season 2 but have 5 on the DVR and it just isnt as good as the first season

Your wrong about the Plot.. not giving it away.. but youll understand all if you take time to watch it ALL.

Season 2 wasnt bad, not as good.. Season 3 is going to be solid and they are talking 10+ seasons.

Cant wait for Breygent to get the cards out

Love the show...definitely freaked me out at times too. Season 1 was way better than season 2. Jessica Lange can play just about anything.

I do watch it but it is not as good as everyone makes it out to be, doesn't really scare me though as I love horror shows, movies. If I want to get scared I will watch Jersey Shore.

Keep watching, the plot gets better with each episode! I won't give anything away...

I only saw season 1 and loved it. I heard the second season kind of sucks but I haven't seen it so can't really say.

Can't say it scared me, as I've been watching horror movies since I was literally three years old.

I believe it's streamable on Netflix. The cover art weirded me out too much, so I've never watched it.

I posted in another thread about the show, that my first experience was right smack at the beginning of the high school massacre scene that went on and on and on and was just way over the top vicious.

That was also my last experience with the show.

This season has sucked
The writing has been flaccid

Seems the writer is doing bates motel. Just watched Ep 1 and I can see another shitty series on the rise trying to capitalize on the zombie swing that is moving directly into random blood horror.
THose of you whom missed the 70's era of horror, hang on, it;s rounding the curve and coming back

If you want to see a really scary show, check out "Canadian Horror Story" - it's a bunch of Canucks claiming that THEIR horror story show is MUCH MORE SCARY YET CULTURALLY SENSITIVE than the STUPID AMERICAN VERSION.

Thought I'd update all of you.

I finished the first season today, and I was wrong: the show does have a very good plot. The acting performances from Jessica Lange and Frances Conroy were superb. Loved the show. I would be excited for the second season, but it doesn't sound too good.

For those fans of the show who are waiting for Breygent's card release, there are now a pair of promos that were handed out on Saturday of the Chicago non-sport show last week. They were late arrivals so the folks who only came on Friday or early Saturday missed out and very few are currently in circulation.

The second season is very different, but I liked it as much as the first. I actually started with the second season because the first season sounded kind of stupid to me when I first heard about it. Then I saw how far they go with the show and went back to enjoy season one
