I remember back in my undergrad days I used to work out 3-4 hours six times per week on a rotation system. I lost 80 lbs in about four months, which isn't bad. The stress of being in a higher academic level currently and studying almost constantly really destroys my chances of keeping a healthy lifestyle... so, I am starting the paleo diet on monday. I just bought 40 lbs worth of salmon, elk, and other meats that are nitrate/preservative free and several lbs of vegetables. We shall see how it goes, I am just gonna have to try to get some workouts in too. I have to lose 40 lbs to meet weight requirements for the Navy or PHS, damn standards.
