Default Roger Ebert - Dead at 70

Roger Ebert dead at 70 - chicagotribune.com

Sad to hear it. I always liked how for a little whimpy looking guy, he was a bit of a dick with his reviews. I respected him.

Oh no!

I saw last night that he had a recurrence of cancer or something. Really sad to hear, one of the best reviewers around ... I rarely disagreed with his write-ups.

Even though I did not agree with all of his reviews, I still enjoyed hearing and reading his points of view. Thanks to his and Siskel's television show, I was exposed to movie that I would had never heard about otherwise.

Just heard the news myself. Wow, I mean by far the most famous movie critic around.

People will write him off as a critic but he was a movie lover like us. He sat through a lot of crappy movies so others wouldnt have to.
