Talking Reptiles: Anybody else here own or breed them?

I am just curious who else is in to reptiles? I have always been a big reptile and amphibian fan. I have owned everything from fire belly newts and tiger salamanders to green iguanas and have breed a few different species. I have been collecting and breeding Leopard Geckos for a few years now. The genetics are very interesting and the amount of possible morphs is nearly endless. I have a couple of cool projects going right now. I have slowed down a bit this season due to the birth of my first child but I have a few eggs cooking right now. Here are some pics of my breeders. I will also be selling some of the babies from this season if anyone is interested feel free to pm me. I have eggs from Phoenix X Megatron pairing and Pig X Megatron. Should be some very cool genetics with enigma gene and the green and orange hues. Also anybody who has some reptiles to share feel free to post them up.

Male Rainwater Albino aka - Bino

Female Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tale aka Pheonix

Male TUG G project Enigma - aka Megatron

Female HYPO Tangerine het RW Albino - aka PIG

Female Normal aka Maori

I'm a reptile enthusist, though I've slowed since returning to graduate school.

We have three leopard geckos at the moment, a RES, a box turtle, around two dozen carpet pythons and a dozen ball pythons. I have not bred anyone since returning to school. Carpet pythons are my passion. Last two clutches were around 30 eggs each.

We attend the National Reptile Breeder Expo in Daytona (not as dealers) each August.

Leopard Geckos store fat and nutrients in their tails. The females tails get especially big because they use those nutrients during the breeding season and egg laying when they don't eat much.

I don't take many photos of my reptiles.

This is a photo of my last clutch of Derek Roddy stock coastals. I sold these to Ben Siegel.

One of the above.

I forgot to post a few baby pics. Here are some from last year just after hatching. They weight just a few grams and are a couple inches long.

Very cool! I have had a few boa's and bull snakes over the years but my wife will not allow snakes in the house at this point LOL.

Sorry to hear that. Maori my normal female is about 11 years old she probably won't be around much longer. I will have some nice babies for you in may if you want to try and replace frankie

These are really cool! Is it hard to breed/morph them? Sounds like a cool hobby to pick up.

I used to breed reptiles in the 80's.
None of these wild hybrids were available then
We started to get into the Ruthveni program and bought a few hets, but after an incident with fish and game we had to give it up.
When I used to breed, Het boas were 5500.00 a pop and Albino red tails were 20k/ea
Never REALLY got into lizards.
I looked at snakes a few months ago and there are so many inbred, cross bred species out there its silly.

It is not really that hard. It may be a little tricky for someone who has not owned or worked with reptiles much but as far as breeding reptiles go leopard geckos are one of the easiest.

My little cousin just got his first reptile (he wanted a dog, but too much responsibility), I think it was a bearded dragon lizard at Petsmart/Petco. Neat little fella though

Bearded dragons are very cool lizards! There are a lot of breeders of those around here too.

First 2 babies of the season hatched today! These are from parents PIG and MEGATRON pictured above in original post. Tangerine enigma is their morph and they are also het for albino. These should turn out to be very cool and with the enigma genes at play you just never know what you are going to get! Should be fun to watch them develop.

Baby #1

Baby #2
