Well it's too late to offer training advice so the only thing I can really say is during the electrical wires be sure to go through as quickly as possible. If it's while running be careful because you might take a header but it's better if you go through it fast.

Aside from that, go at your own pace and have fun.

I wouldn't unless you've trained with one. I did a camelback for a half marathon and I felt like it held me back. Also, the Tough Mudder should have plenty of water stations. What I would take would be those Gatorade Quenchers or something similar in case you need calories half way through.

They will have water stations throughout the course. My buddy ran the Dallas one last year and I didn't see anyone using a camelback.

my buddy did it a few month back out here w/a bunch of co-workers, and you have to have others with you or make friends there, you will have a hard time finishing it on your own. be prepared to get dirty and hurt and bruised and wet. He said it was a nice challenge though. If he does it next year I may join him.

Don't die. But if you do you've signed the waiver.

I did the Vegas one and it was awesome.

I recommend having someone on your team who is excellent at pull-ups

If you haven't trained you may finish but you won't complete all of the obstacles

I also recommend not wearing anything you ever want to use again (it will be the last day for your shoes most likely) and everything you change in to will also be covered in mud and whatever else.

Batting gloves, runners body glide and the minimum tight fitting clothing are also recommended and I don't think anyone who started with us ended with sunglasses

I had compression shorts and cold gear to help ward off the ice plunge but it really wasn't all that bad

The warped wall is very late, so make sure the least tired person gets up then helps everyone else. The wires are no big deal, just an exhilarating jolt. I recommend tucking your arms and lowering your head and just sprinting

Most importantly, bring some money to buy a hoodie, a beer coozie and other gear because I use my stuff ALL the time. I often travel in my hoodie and get great comments all over the country because of it.

Last but not least, eat plenty of really healthy natural foods and drink a #@#@#@#@ ton of water between now and then

Let me know how it goes, you will have a blast
