i remember when i broke my foot. Looked just like that i didnt need any surgery though. I was in a huge black boot for 3 months my kalf was so skinny and flabby lol!. Then since i couldnt walk on it properly for so long my Achillies (spelling?) tendon was really tight. Hope its not to bad and you have a painless recovory.

Several years ago I rolled mine so bad that the part of my leg above the ankle touched the ground. I thought I had a compound fracture or something when it happened, so I was relieved to see no bones protruding from my skin

Hurt like a mofo though and I had a huge bruise on the top of my foot from the tendons getting torn. I've got a little arthritis in that ankle now too.

Good luck--it takes awhile to get back to normal. I think it was about 2 months for me.

No surgery this time. Last time I had to have my right ankle reconstructed.

My foot actually looked exactly like this about 2 years ago. In a softball game the first baseman stepped right on my ankle. I still get tingling in it and it gets sore after extended periods of playing sports. Keep it rested for a while man.

That sucks

I don't know how many many times I've sprained my ankle. I've broken it twice.

My left ankle is now a POS

Hopefully it heals quick. Being on crutches is the worst

Lateral ligament replacement?

My ankle ligaments are like wet noodles.

UPDATE: Thanks for all the concern and well wishes. I am a Baseball Official and I was able to at least go out and help with the games today. Time to rest it.
