Default WHat are some of the weirdest things you guys have eaten??

Going off tangent from Jon's thread...

What are some of the weirdest things you guys have eaten?

Now seeing as this board is full of rural white males, I fully expect to see stuff listed like:

The weirdest thing I have eaten is Fried Rice
or
The weirdest thing I have eaten is my neighbors Bar-B-Que Turkey Legs
or
The weirdest thing I have eaten is a Bean Burrito

C'mon, y'all, get up and try some food...it ain't gonna kill you

I have had Elk, Bison and something my friend from Macau made. I make him promist to NOT tell me what was in it. I tried it and it was good. It was a thick soup or stew and stopped eating when I saw an eye.

Alligator meat is awesome. Had it while visiting my aunt in Oklahoma 15 years back or so.

I think the weirdest thing would be frog legs. I also eat a lot of venison (deer meat) which is pretty normal here in WI but I get some weird looks from people from other areas.

I always get eel at my sushi place. I don't think it's weird but I get a lot of weird looks and comments from people I eat with. Also had rattlesnake, alligator, and reindeer.

I don't see the appeal to eating testicles of any animal

I've had gator, elk, etc.

My sister had BBQ rat in Cambodia a few years ago...said it tasted like chicken. She sent a picture of it...it was a whole rat on a stick.

Pork brains. My dad likes to scramble them with eggs. The taste isn't bad, but they smell horrid, so no more for me.

I don't judge those that do but I just find it very strange that anyone would want to eat that part of an animal.

Gator meat is awesome if cooked right, I've had it 3 times I think & one time it sucked because it was rubbery. It tastes like a mixture of chicken & fish.

I used to eat all kinds of things growing up, before I learned what they were . Tripe would have to be at the top of that list followed by ox tail & octopus.
