Default Donating Cards To Charity

Hi all,

Looking for a charity relatively close to NE Pennsylvania that accepts baseball cards as donations. I have a lot of stuff that I want to get into the hands of sick kids if I can.

Anyone know of a good one? I could take it to the Salvation Army but they are going to sell them, which is not a bad thing, but I would like my donation to brighten a child's day.

Thanks,

KD

I donate a bunch of cards to Schools and Day Cares.

They really seem to like them.

That Children's Hospital suggestion is an awesome idea! I have so many base football and baseball cards that are essentially worthless to me, but I'm sure some sick kids would love. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just took all of mine to the local Boy's Club here. They will use them as rewards/encouragement prizes for the kids (i.e. doing homework, staying out of trouble, etc). They were very excited to get them. They were able to give me a receipt for taxes as well.

You might want to try the Shriners Hosiptal in Erie.

I am sorry, I thought it said NW PA. Shriners would still be a great place for them. There might be one near you.
