Default My Victory!

5 years (2 degrees worth) of student loans paid off in 17 months!

I even overpaid by $0.08.

Just wanted to toot my own horn, all my money has been going towards this - now I get to start my life.

We need more people like you and fewer people who whine and moan and want everyone else to pay their loans off.

Congrats!

Very nice, I took more of a geodemographic approach in my degree so I work with a lot of census data on a day-to-day basis.

I had originally planned to take two years to pay it off but I also have to note that my father let me live at home. I covered household expenses for the both of us which comes out to about 50% of what I will be paying for rent.

I went away for undergrad, then did a Master's (12 month) program. I got loans for all five years and did not pay anything back while I was in school. I owed $37,500 at the end. Ended up paying about $39,500 (including interest).
