Those awful, awful cell phone pics of Jesse's "death" and the "barrel" were hilarious.

HOLY SH!T!!!

What an episode!

The last 10 minutes or so were so intense because I KNEW 100% that those guys were gonna show up.

IMO Hank and Gomez are most likely dead at the beginning of next week's episode, and I think Jesse will be killed execution style.

HOLY CRAP, I still can't believe what I saw!!!

Just saw it, wow. Thought the guys would show up as well, but also gave Hank's partner an outside shot at getting greedy.

Anyway...first instinct are Hank and his partner die...but they do not see Jesse, and Walt doesn't tell them about him, but it seems way too unlikely...but then I look back at the call with Marie. Will be fun to think about until the next episode.

Three left guys.

Can't see that ever happening.

Hank and Gomez are the only 2 witnesses to Jesse's confession aside from the video they made with him that Walt's yet unaware of. Will Walt give Jesse a free pass now that the only 2 people he ratted to are now dead?

Who even knows what Jesse said on that tape? The only thing we really heard is that they met in Mr. White's chemistry class in high school and looks like Gomez and Hank were out of the room all the while Jesse's confession took place. It could be a sister tape to go along with the tape Walt made blaming everything on Hank for all we know,or even Todd and his uncle's gang.

The only scene that came close in the series to last night's episode nuts-in-a-blender ending was the one when Walt ran over the drug dealers to save Jesse - holy smack that was intense!

Bingo! They left him alone to record in private and there was no suggestion that Hank ever watched it, but he just assumed Jesse confessed the truth.

Hmm. That's interesting. But what motive would Jesse have to confess anything but the truth? And what characteristics has he demonstrated since then to suggest that he would have lied? It was clearly a pleasurable experience for Jesse to see Walt in handcuffs.

They were in the room for the confession. On the deck when Hank and Gomez were talking was after the confession ended. Hank and Gomez discussed specifics about what Jesse said, and from what a few critics said this was a deliberate choice to not show anything Jesse said in order for the viewer to assume he told the whole story (and showing bits a pieces of what Jesse said would imply he left something out).

yeah I agree, this and the parkinglot/ Cousins scene are the best!! And the scene where Fring comes out of the bathroom after poisoning Don Elario and his men!!

I think next episode either just Gomez dies or both Gomez and Hank die. Jesse will not die next episode that's pretty obvious. If he dies it will be the finale or maybe the one before the finale.

Have you guys been reading reviews online of the episode though like all the things they did with colors of clothing and very quick almost hidden subliminal messages and stuff. Pretty neat stuff that I always miss but like to read about. Very intelligent writers and show.

If you guys have never read the main Reddit "Post-Episode Discussion" threads on Breaking Bad ... well, I can never read them for more than 5 minutes without being brought to tears from laughing.

Post-Episode Discussion Thread S05E13 "To'hajiilee" : breakingbad

Just the simple fact that Todd is commonly referred to as "Meth Damon" kills me.

Another taste:

Quote:
If Hank and Gomie die, Huell is going to be sitting in that room FOREVER
Quote:
Saul bursts into hotel room, sees Huell on the floor, noticeably thinner

Oh man.

Why was Walt screaming for Jack to not do anything at the end? Is it the whole "He's family" thing again? Them killing Hank is probably the only thing that lets him stay out of jail I would think.

Great episode hate that it'll be over so soon. All my favorite shows are ending this, Dexter, SOA back to not watching TV shows anymore.
Also Sauls bodyguard Hugh? really let me down, you'd think working for Saul he'd know better. Walt too leading them to the money, all the dont hang up talk from Jesse should have tipped him off.
I couldn't understand that part either, especially since they had their sights on them & it didn't look like the 2 were moving that quick. You'd think with 8 or so people shooting at you one of the bullets would hit the target... TV I guess

I think I got the rest of the show figured out. Walt will be a hero in the last episode. Sort of.

this is the "Rambo" theory...Rambo vs. the entire Russian army...doesn't get hit and takes out helicopter with a bow and arrow. lol.
