hank is hank. if you were DEA wouldn't you want to keep moving up the chain and making youself the best you can be? The blue meth was his baby. He knew that Gus was bad way before anyone else did. He was nearly killed when he went to el paso and scarred from that. he was shot and nearly paralyzed, walt tossed them in a car accident, his wife is a klepto, sister in law is a 4 letter word that rhymes with hunt. There has to be someone in that show who can keep to who they really are. The latest episode does show some chinks in the armor though.

I missed the Talking Bad and we forgot to record it, so I don't know what was talked about or given away for spoilers, if any.
I never liked Todd really, just wanted to watch because he had been on Friday Night Lights.

Seriously, Season 4 has to be among the greatest seasons of television ever made. Worth the wait.

I know, and I agree. My opinion is very sadistic.

I used to be a Walking Dead fan, but getting into this show made me realize just how inferior the writing for Walking Dead is. So many plotholes and cheesy acting. Whereas EVERYTHING in Breaking Bad makes sense from a plausibility standpoint, as well as from good writing. I can't think of a single plothole. Also, the acting is top-notch from everyone. There is not one bad actor on the show. Furthermore, the whole color symbolism of the characters' outfits is an excellent touch.

Needless to say, Breaking Bad is one of my favorite shows ever and, in my opinion, one of the best-written ever.

I couldn't believe it either when I first saw that episode. The best (or worst depending on your POV) is yet to come.

I understand why he did it. He needs Jesse.

This is one of the best shows I have watched. My wife is ticked off at me that I knocked out about 8 episodes on her. Now she has to catch up.

This is what I love about Gilligan's development of Walter White as a character. The decision he made to essentially kill Jane is one that he was able to justify by telling himself that he was saving Jesse, and that they both would have eventually OD'd anyways. Honestly this is probably true, but it is yet another almost justifiable decision that pushes Walt closer to insanity. (SPOILER): Soon he will be blowing up nursing homes and killing witnesses in prison!

I'm through season 2 finally. The only thing I don't like is the time it takes Skylar to confront Walt after his surgery. Seems like weeks go by of an untold story. And what about GUS during this time?

I know he finds out about Walt at the DEA office, but you would think he would want to make contact within that time period.

On to Season 3.

Enjoy season 3! The intensity continues to mount, and you may notice that the style is a bit different, because for season two they planned the entire plot before filming s02e01, but for season 3 they just kinda figured it out as they went.

I'm three episodes into season 4 right now, and I must say it's quite intense. The first episode was insane and the next few episodes look to be even better

Vince Gilligan said in an interview that they had originally planned for Walter to 'assist' in killing Jane, but they weren't ready for him to be that evil yet. So, they chose for him to emotionally ride the fence, so to speak.

If you've ever been the only sober one in a room with two guys smoking weed, that's pretty much what the conversations are like.

Very interesting. He did roll her over (which triggered the puking), but he wasn't directly trying to kill her, just trying to awaken Jesse. I think they found a nice balance, and Cranston does such an incredible job acting out the horror on Walt's face as she dies

Season 4 was the Best TV I have ever watched. I am all caught up with season 5 as of today, and all I can say is that this season is not that far behind it.

I was actually surprised that Breaking Bad Season 4 only carries a 96% Metacritic rating. Looked it up yesterday. That ranks it in a tie as the 14th-best season of anything ever. (Not that Metacritic is everything.)

Funny enough, Season 5 ranks in a tie for the 2nd-best season of all-time (99%).

Only 6 left ....

I tend to agree, something big will be set up tonight. I sense a big cliff hanger. Lydia is going to be a huge factor is where this season heads IMO.

Is it bad that I want Walt to survive?
