I live in Vancouver, WA.... There are no hobby shops in vancouver.... almost 250,000 people live here and no card shop... errr.... there are 4 in Portland. The very best shop is 1.Baseball Cards and More (randy the owner is a super nice guy, but his shop is cluttered with stacks of boxes and its pretty messy in there) He has everything you need in boxes and is the best priced shop. He is located in East Portland (11937 Southeast Stark Street. 122nd is the cross street. If you go east on I84 there is a 122nd exit)
2. Hoopla Sports Cards is located in Beaverton off of Hillsdale HWY. They are two odd cats that own the shop. They are pretty nice, but are really big into MAGIC, and POKEMON. And the one owner, Cameron wears a fannypack... somewhat odd... they have one of the top 5 sales on beckett.com every year. They are a little more expensive than Randy.. 3. Mitchells Sportscards in Beaverton. I dont even know if they are still open but he doesnt have a good selection and he is priced pretty high.... He is located in downtown beaverton. 4. Heavensent Sportscards are located in Tualitin. He is overpriced through the roof. He has loyal guys because he is located in the southern part of Portland-metro area and is right off I5. Stay away because a box that costs $100 at Randys shop will run you about $150-175!!!!!! His shop is pretty clean and he is another weird guy... Stick with Baseball Cards and More. Very messy, but Randy will hook you up and I have pulled some monster stuff. He is a HUUUUUUUGE baseball fan... looks like santa clause... hope this finds you well... I also PM'd this to you!

I live near #1 in danmecum51's post and agree with what is said about it. Despite the clutter, I can walk in and ask for a player and he always is able to walk straight to a box and find if he has it. Great shop, great owner.
Never had voodoo myself but know plenty who rave about it. Friend recently had their first and was craving to go back for like 2 weeks straight. |
