No one is talking about "watered down piss" when it comes to alcohol content. An American beer will get you just as drunk as a beer from any other country. Give me a 12 pack of Keystone or a 12 pack of Heineken. Either way I'll end up drunk and trying to hit on a fattie

It TASTES like watered down piss. IE, water. The most popular American lagers have little flavor. Most stouts, IPA's, hefeweizens, etc have flavor.

I actually like Yuengling. It has been my favorite beer since moving to PA.

When I was in college you could buy a case of 24 long neck bottle of Drewry's Beer that came in a cool cardboard case for $4.99 that double as boxes for college students. This stuff was vomit in a bottle. Every sip was worse than the previous one.

Rolling Rock, Blue Moon (never understood the fascination with this beer), and Ice House. And if you're in the mood for experiencing the worst headache ever...grab a Natty Ice!

Dis-honorable mention goes to Heineken.

Really surprised no one has mentioned Pabst Blue Ribbon, IMO it's just as bad as Natty Ice.

from shite to decent american watered down beer worth mentioning.

steel reserve < natty ice < budlite < coors < pabst < rolling rock

much prefer sam adams oktoberfest, shipyard pumkinhead, sea dog wild blueberry, or one of the more popular miocrobrews i.e. Imperial Stout or IPA.

Steel Reserve gets my vote too. I bought it when I was first out of college and broke waiting for my first paycheck. Two tallboys later and I was trashed. And the hangover the next day was one of the worst I've ever had.

I know the feeling. When you don't have enough for a dbl malt 40.

Actually, have you heard about Walgreens brand beer Big Flats? Actually has a higher rating than Steel Reserve on Beeradvocate.com. Check Natty Ice's rating!

It's one of those alcohol "myths" that are immediately verifiable with sheer, hard facts: Go on, grab a bottle of American beer and compare its alcohol percentage to, say, a Molson. You'll find that the Canadian brew is far more potent than its Stars 'n' Stripes cousin.

The Reality:

The myth behind American beer being weak as piss stems from the fact that most countries measure beer alcohol percentage by volume. The U.S., continuing our proud tradition of shunning the rest of the world's measuring systems (just like that metric system #@#@#@#@#@#@#@#@), has traditionally measured alcohol exclusively by weight instead.

Sadly, as reputations go, this proved to be American beer's undoing: When measuring alcohol by weight, each and every American beer ended up displaying a smaller alcohol percentage on the label than its foreign counterparts.

And despite the fact that U.S. breweries are now shying away from the traditional "alcohol by weight" system and embracing the "Screw this, we'll do what everyone else is doing" system, they're still fighting an uphill battle against the ingrained idea that American beer is weaker than the real beer the rest of the world brews."
Lol Im not talking about alcohol content or anything else. Im just saying it tastes like piss watered down

Busch Light or Natural Light, both are very watered down & have an extremely bland taste.

Agreed. I nearly forgot about Busch. I've ran into people who defend that beer!
