Default Thrift Shop Pickups

There is a great thread at FCB where people show their thrift pickups. I thought I would start it over here. I've already learned a lot about bats, bobbles and other items that I can better look for now.

My sports pickups from this last Sunday's run wasn't great, but I found four Hawaiian shirts for my daughters first birthday (we're having a luau). I was worried I wouldn't find one in my size.

If anyone can help me with the logo on the Bauer jacket I would appreciate it, I don't recognize it.

I was on google for a while. I want to say I've even seen it before, but I'm not a hockey guy. Maybe a small college? I was searching "Bulls" but a team like Rampage wouldn't come up with that.

North Iowa Bulls would make sense on the location, but the logo and colors are off.

So was this a good haul ? Not being a smart a$$, seriously asking. I want to get in to the whole thrift store thing but every time I go there I think Im just looking at junk instead of anything I could resell.

I'm not real into shoes/cleats but they seem to be new or like new. Prob could get $25 a pair. Not sure about the bag but it looks 80s to me, had a twins one...wonder what happened to it.

The other thread inspired me to start doing it after seeing the cool stuff they were picking up. I've just learned to focus on certain types of things and learn that area (what sells, what doesn't) but at the same time be open to picking up one item that looks interesting for a couple bucks on spec. It's a great way to learn about new areas of collectibles an you've only risked a couple bucks.

I've also noticed that if I really like something, it usually sells fast.

I feel your pain, I want to wear half the stuff I pick up...maybe that's not such a bad thing.

To answer your questions I've sold 4 pairs of the cleats for right around $200 kept 3 for myself and did get 1 pair signed...

Had an offer for $100 for the bag but it's not for sale...not bad for $39

player travel bags rarely go up for auction especially of all star caliber players..if you look at completed auctions on ebay even lesser player bags sell really well

Love thift shopping! Last time I found a cool Michigan Wolverines Swingter jacket from the 90s. Find lots of cool toys, games, etc. Great way to fund my other hobby!
