I also went to discogs and put in the reference Numbers and the Maxtrix's for all of them and they all came back correct.

Nope copyrights always show when the album originally came out.

I have a few of the hot topic represses of Blink 182 and they all show the original year they were pressed.

Haha thanks! I'm trying to thin out the bad stuff but the record store wouldn't trade me for my Pablo Cruise or Barry Manilows...wonder why lol.

I'm one of those that started collecting (to play) 45's in the 50's. Maybe 200 of these.
Along the way I picked up a couple hundred 78's.
The Beatles came and suddenly I bought albums. I'd guess I'm at 200 or so albums before 1990. Very few after.
Don't really know what to do with them other than play them occasionally. There is a record store about 20 miles away but I can just imagine what they'd offer. I'm guessing it'd be like selling a set of 1990 Topps.

Eventually I wanna try selling or trading these to fund awesome stuff, thinking Zeppelin!

And I'll definitely be back to those stores...I actually was at Shake It yesterday to grab a CD for my brother. But it's literally in the neighborhood, like a 10 minute walk, so I usually stop by one or both every couple of weeks.

Saw your other link too, record store day is HUGE for both these stores but I stupidly haven't been to one yet despite living here a few years. I'll hopefully be heading this year...I know both shops here do a lot of freebies and a lot of live music.

I want put my collection on Discogs but i have so many records it would take me forever to list them all.

I think one of my better LPs is the Butthole Surfers "Chewin' George Lucas' Chocolate" - it is printed on clear brown vinyl and is sealed in a mylar cover

I picked up two more LP's from a great member here by the name of Mcpug! I'm pretty happy with both of them. I got RATM debut album and The Deftones White Pony.

Love collecting vinyl also. Have around 150 total, 30 Dylan records. Also got a Tom Petty Wildflowers Lp that was extremely short printed from my wife for Christmas a few years ago. She wouldn't tell me the price but I know it was at least over $200. Best sounding record I have

I used to have a decent vinyl collection. Led Zepplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughn and the like. I found a lot of mine at pawn shops and found great deals. Good luck with your collection.

Only thing's I'm wanting is the Nirvana 7" and the Nirvana "In Utero" tribute album. Might grab a few other things for people who can't go though.

Last years RSD had better releases it seems.

Did it? This will be my first RSD. I'm popping my cherry I think I'm going to pick up 5 or 6. Thankfully there really isn't anything super rare that I want besides maybe the 5FDP and Korn Picture Discs. I'm thinking about maybe picking up that Nirvana 7" but I've never heard it before. Was that ever released before now?
