On what grounds? Just asking, as hotbox said, we should divulge some reasons...

I got a chuckled about being painted as Borg so early. Thanks for that. Before my current job I spent a long time in the military, in fact a special unit akin to the earthly Special Forces. We were well trained in stealth. To be specific I found an access panel in the cryotube room and was able to traverse part of the ship unseen.

I don't know what to make of the fact that the Borg leader (at least I think he was the leDer) was left alone. Where is everyone else?

His backstory is also somewhat confusing.

He says his ancestors lived in PaniniAmerica. And that he left when he heard the Borg where taking over our town.

Well what exactly is our town?

Did you leave PaniniAmerica because the Borg took over? or did you come here from somewhere else because you heard the Borg was trying to take over?

Please explain a little more

Thanks you for clearing that up. Glad to have someone with your skills on board that could come in handy.

Sorry for the quick judgement but you can never be to careful in a situation like this.

As for the leader being alone. Im guessing it's because the other Borg's are somewhere around here with us trying to fit in.

I think he left PaniniAmerica because the Borg went there. "Our town" is PaniniAmerica if I am interpreting this correctly. I think he's clean but he never provided a reason for voting for josh.

Yeah maybe but he has already also voted for 2 different people each time not providing any reasons either time.

I voted josh because of his lack of backstory. He confirmed his role but has said nothing else. That raised a red flag for me. I want to hear a backstory before I will change my mind.

So for those curious, after some searching around the ship I have found several folks unaccounted for. These include:

petesahuttt

Cubsbball25

jedi500

RedSoxFan28

I also briefly heard Josh611's voice, so he's around, but I don't know of his background or whereabouts.

I would love to hear more from the above five members of our crew. Hopefully none have turned Borg!

When I was young, my poppa told me stories of this man's ancestors. It was widely assumed by the residents of Blowoutsburgh that something was amuck with his ancestor. Maybe he's "following in his footsteps" so to speak?

I'm still curious on how to actually "lynch" someone. A Borg I assume we'd just throw of the ship into the unknown.

good to know. So is hanging a robot/cyborg/human creature going to work? Because, you know, they are robots after all. Can't they do whatever they want?

Didn't anyone pay attention in Star Fleet Academy. The Borg are able to use a force field that protects them from most of our weaponry. In fact, they are able to adapt those shields as well, so even when we do find a weapon that will work against Borg forces, we will be lucky to get more than one shot.

Having been trained heavily in weaponry, plus with my engineering background, I may be able to adjust some of the few phaser rifles in our possession in order to find a frequency that will be effective against the Borg. However, we should only use this technique once per day, otherwise the Borg will quickly adapt and our only weapons against them will fail. If we do vote that we can no longer trust a crew member, this should be how we eliminate the untrustworthy.

I would gladly step aside if there is anybody left with a greater expertise in Borg technology than me, because everything I know comes straight from the Star Fleet Academy textbooks, not from experience...

Wouldn't the only person who knows more than you be a Borg itself? You do know an awful lot about how they function though... Just putting it out there.

This is common knowledge for all who took combat studies at Star Fleet Academy. There are people who have survived Borg conquests, and are far more knowledgable than me.

And I'm glad you're "putting it out there", because then I get to respond. If I was a Borg, would I be the only person to bring up their flaw in their technology, and possibly a solution to exploit that flaw? Highly unlikely. I wish to survive this battle against the Borg, and the only way to do that is to share any and all information that can help us in this fight, whether it is information learned at the Academy, or clues to the identity of the Borg hiding among us...

Hello peoples!

My name is Josh. I've lived here for awhile now. Sorry for the lack of response. Been busy dealing with the person who decided to knock my stuff over.

Hopefully we are able to find the "Borg" and get them off our ship!
