Default Real definition of a quick sale

I mostly post in the basketball boards. I see quick sale this and quick sale that. When I see that I continue to click and see items at or even above eBay. I get the idea, it is the sellers card and the sellers price. Also, I understand advertising as well and Sometimes it is about getting people into the thread so that they can peruse.

My question is what do YOU consider a real quick sale?

My idea of a quick sale is something that is priced so well that you pounce on it quickly...and it would then be sold.

While I look at most of the non-specific titled "quick sales", more often than not I exit with the thought that my opinion of a quick sale is different than that of the seller.

I would like to hear some thoughts/opinions on this matter.

The idea is to put up a lot of cards at decent prices because you are hurting for money at the moment. I thought that was the point of a "quick sale".

I bumped the thread

To be fair, he was/is asking below what a recent auction ended at. IMO, a quick-sale should never require a 24-hour bump.

Agreed. 100%

This is what I thought the idea was.

I will say this, I don't want a 20 card quick sale unless I can make more money on those cards than I could working a few hours of overtime. This isn't a business to me. If I can buy card "a" at $40 and then sell it for $70, than that is a deal.

If I can buy card "a" at $40 and sell it for $50....Fees, envelope, postage, my time...I break even on this proposition.

Selling stuff that I already own is different. I own it. Its in a box in my house. It is almost like getting something for nothing but my time.
