"Juiced", "Bo Knows Bo", "Hammerin' Hank", and I no longer own it so can't remember the title, but Bill Russell's champion book. As soon as Yasiel Puig opens up and publishes his story, I will be a buyer.

ETA: I have read at least 30 biographies, and these are the ones that actually stand out.

I recommend any and all H. Rider Haggard books.
Start with King Solomon's Mines and then do Allan Quartermaine

Bullpen Gospels by Dirk Hayhurst (also recommend the next book Out of my League)
Moneyball by Michael Lewis (great if you are into advanced metrics and how Billy Bean used them to win)
Hot Stove Economics by JC Bradbury (deals more with the financial side of baseball and how much wins are worth on the FA market)

I'll second the Bullpen Gospels and Out of My League books by Dirk Hayhurst; absolutely the best sports books I've ever read.

Also, Let Me Tell You A Story by John Feinstein and Red Auerbach and Can I Keep My Jersey? by Paul Shirley were too fantastic basketball reads.

Ive read some great biographies, but juiced was a really fun read. I usually prefer more serious books but some of the stories in there had me howling

Figured you're probably looking for baseball/football/basketball books (most of my sports reading consists of hockey stories), so my knowledge is quite limited. Friday Night Lights and the Bullpen Gospels are two that I really enjoyed, though.

Thanks all. Will look into getting some of those! Having to babysit all summer so I figured I would read books while watching the kids...
