Default best printer for iMac?

Hey all,

I am in the market for a new printer for my iMac at home. Don't need anything fancy. Just standard printing needs.
More importantly I want something that is know to interface well with macs.

Any suggestions?

I have a very basic one, just for printing labels. Do macs need specific types of printers?

Probably a reliable one, more specifically one that is trustworthy and not shady.

Most of the time when I want to print it won't send it and print the whole page. I get a really weird error.

Brother has always been good for me, Mac and PC.

Avoid HP.

Interface: wifi if you want to use it with other devices, laptops or iPhone or iPad. Wired or Usb if only for the imac.

I know you know your computers so I'm shocked you said avoid HP printers. Usually, they are the best...especially for IOS devices for air print. What's your beef?

I also agree with Nicnac on brother printers. Reliable.

I hate Epson

Chances are if a client calls to report a minor printer issue such as it cannot be found, and the printer inexplicably has 'forgotten' the wi-fi network it's been on for months or years, guess the brand.

This actually happened most recently YESTERDAY where I did a remote session with the client and spoke her through getting it back on the wi-fi network it had always been on but now suddenly was not on any network.

Another common issue is the sudden dead printer. More often than not, it's an HP. I always suggest these clients change brands for their replacement.

Interesting to hear that. I haven't been in sales since the OJ 8600 a few years back which has had great reviews but at school now I do keep on getting a service error from my 3700 that is similar to the wifi issue (network error with a couple of the computers in my lab) so interesting you say that. I've been hoping for a good error that can't get repaired so the company could bring a newer printer to my classroom lol

iMac deals in uncut sheets superfractors.

He doesn't use a printer. Just razor blades and straight edges.

I'll quote myself.

Talking trash about scammers gets you banned at some forums.

At blowout it's welcomed. How it should be
