Default Ok Now Answer Me This........

Who is the best young player in the NHL? Is Crosby better than Malikn or for that matter Ovechkin? My opinion is Malkin & Ovechkin are better.Just my opinion.

I think Malkin has been the best player in the NHL since Jan. Malkin and Crosby have different style games, Crosby is more of a distributer than a scorer, but has the natural ability to score when he needs to. He is a natural leader and just being out on the ice makes his teammates better. Malkin can do both, not quite as good a distributer, but a much better scorer. As far as Ovie, he may be the best player in the world, but I won't say that for sure until I see him get more involved in making his teammates better. Yes he scores a lot, but he also shoots the puck a ton more than everyone else. His assist stats are deceiving since quite a few of them come from rebounds and deflected shots.

Either way, you can't go wrong with any of the 3 guys. They are easily the top 3 players in hockey, but I don't see how anyone could say for sure what order they fall in.

bias I am with you, Best in the playoffs for sure. Eventually people will be speaking of Datsyuk and Zetterberg anyways its only time Matt Bias we are but I love it.

But as for who you had involved in this....I am going with Ove. He doesn't have near the support that Malkin and Crosby have (add in Hossa too). His ability is just too damn good. Great sight on the ice, and one hell of a twisted wrister

Next year Niklas Backstrom, Patrice Bergeron and Anze Kopitar will be in that discussion.

I could not agree with that more. It's a shame Kopitar plays in LA or we'd be hearing more about him.

I also think that Crosby is better than a good player. A good player doesn't have 240+ points after his first two seasons. Ovechkin is still better in my opinion, but its hard to compare the two because their games are totally different.

Backstrom is only gonna make Ovie better and vice versa. Crosby is a very good player, I just like Ovechkin and Malkins style alot more.
