Default Close dispute question

Ok so I have this joker who decided he didn't want an item he won. If I file a non paying bidder and he responds and then I close the dispute saying we decided to not complete the sale will I get my fees back? Can he still neg me if this happens?

after 7 days you open the dispute. You say why you opened the dispute etc. then the other person has seven days to pay even if he respnds and says he's paying it doesn't matter once seventh day hits (after dispute is opened) ebay will close and give you fee's back.

thanks for the response. If you sell comics you may want to block

ytuyyuyuyuyu

He won 3 auctions then said he could only pay for 2 because he didn't "expect to win" all 3.

I hope that you told him that he should intend on winning if he bids!

Once the dispute is closed can the guy try and leave feedback? I have had two non-paying bidders in as many weeks and have the same problem. And now the eller can't leave negative for the buyer. How is that fair to kirkoff? People should know that ytuyyuyuyuyu is not a responsible bidder.

Not sure if I will answer your question but here is the policy (unless it has changed).
If the buyer does not respond to the non bidder claim, then they cannot leave a feedback. However now the seller cannot leave a negative or neutral feedback, and ebay sux.

How is it fair to be able to leave feedback for something you never bought and you can't leave negative for them.
One more question. If I sell the card to the next highest bidder does that now make the original winner unable to leave feedback?
The biggest problem I have with the dispute process is that it takes too long. I had a item a little while ago that the high bidder did not pay for. I waited a week, opened the dispute. The guy responded a few days later asking if I take google checkout instead of paypal. I write back that I don't and he then writes back that he will mail out a money order. I wait a few days for a money order and nothing. So now it is like 2 1/2-3 weeks later I offer secnd and third chance and both are declined. they already found what they wanted elsewhere.
If you get no contact from the buyer you should be able to expedite the dispute process instead of waiting this long.

Well ebay is buyer oriented, they do not care about the seller. Great for buyers, sux for sellers.
