Topic is a moot point because we won't even make it 2024...global warming will have killed us all by then.

You know you're probably right. Boston will be under water, but they're some how more worried about being in financial distraught.

Addison, you need to inform Boston's mayor that money isn't his biggest concern.

Think of the amount of ZJ's they'd have to give out to bribe the committee...

-I'm surprised any U.S. city would want it, but Boston was one of the more-horrible ideas of the collection of horrible ideas.

I heard it was the other way around. The Olympics decided against playing in Boston after they spoke with BostonNut. Something about him thinking he was bigger than the Olympics and being all full of himself but the decision was ultimately made when they figured out he was one of the victims of the terrerist attack that landed 26 suspensions on BO. I mean a culprit is still loose and they want nothing to do with said member.

Can't even fathom how they would have put the games in that city in all honesty. And I'm also one of the people who think changing locations every two years and building all new venues is mind-blowingly stupid.

"Boston" never wanted it.

The unions, wealthy construction company owners, politicians and hacks (friends and family of politicians) wanted it. People who lived and worked outside the Route 128 loop either wanted it or were indifferent. The Boston Globe wanted it. The story written today was mind blowing.

The beautiful people like the Kennedy family wanted it. The people who frequent parties that show up in the Society Pages of the paper wanted it.

These were all people who would personally benefit for the games. Yes they all wanted it.

The average person, the people who have to drive in and out or through Boston on a daily basis didn't want it.

My former schoolmate, Marty Walsh the Mayor of Boston, did something rarely seen in this state. He made the correct decision not to fund any overrides. This is not a popular decision with the bulk of the people who elected him but it's the correct decision for the city.

So no.....Boston never wanted this clusterpoop.

It's sad that the Olympics has turned into something that no one wants because it's a clusterphuck like FIFA.

I agree with that member who said it needs to be held at one location.

But how do you decide what country gets to host the olympics every time?

Either the Space or the moon works. Lebron can do his Space Jam there.

What a golden opportunity missed. Imagine all the crisis actors that could be hired for a larger scale false flag than the last one.

This is 100% correct. Screw the Olympics in Boston or any other city that cannot accommodate the events.

An Olympics is very profitable if you're not building lots of new venues. L.A. will probably become the U.S. bid, and already has the venues. Won't be surprising if a major European city like Paris gets it though.

L.A. Coliseum
Rose Bowl
Whatever name the Rams stadium in Inglewood gets
Dodger Stadium
Angels Stadium
StubHub Center (main stadium and tennis center)
Whatever name the L.A. Football Club stadium to be built on the Sports Arena site gets
Staples Center
Honda Center
Pauley Pavilion
Galen Center
Fabulous Forum
Pyramid
Citizens Business Bank Arena
Long Beach Arena
and plenty more smaller venues for other events

Well, it started in Athens... Give it to Greece. Their country is booming from the 04 games.

Is there any chance Chicago can get the Olympics because it would be a shame to see that property bought up by Obama's cronies not turn into a gold mine like they planned?
