BGS vs PSA Grading

BGS grading is worthless!! People have been sending in the cards and getting grades of 9 and 9.5. They have then busted them from the binder and took them to a onsite Beckett Raw Grader and the 9 and 9.5, both got 8.5!!! Beckett has been just eyeballing cards and throwing numbers on the cards with no rhyme or reason. I would not send money to these guy's anymore, if there is not consistent guidelines for grading then the system is pointless. Think about it if you sent 2 card's in and they came back a 9 and 10 but maybe the 9 is just as perfect as the 10 but 2 seperate people graded them. PSA since implementing the .5 system may start to get more business.

Any thoughts?

The only thing I don't like about PSA is you have to buy a membership. I know you get so many free submissions that pays for the membership, but I just don't like the idea.

184 for 2 years and 12 free grades at 10 days.. I just signed up and my package just showed up I picked up some great looking 70s singles that will be graded along with a Roger Staubach rookie and Dan Fouts rookies that should grade high..

Actually I just signed up with psa recently. I'm thinking of going to Sportsfest this weekend and dropping off some cards.
