I am in a deep fantasy football league that drafts a full 53-man roster and has a 5-man practice squad. Because of suspensions and injuries, my DL is pretty thin. Can anyone give me some ideas on rookies or young players with new starting jobs or even veterans coming back from injury or in a new place that could make an impact this season?
You score points for sacks, forced and recovered fumbles and tackles on the DL (and touchdowns, of course). I have Jared Allen, Richard Seymour, Rod Coleman, Erasmus James and Adam Carriker (along with Brian Smith on the practice squad). You have to start either 3 or 4 DL, so I NEED to pick up 1 or 2 while Allen and Seymour are out. |

Richard Seymore is hurt... Take a look at Rocky Bernard for Seattle as he is a monster up front.
I did one of those leagues once, and found it to be way too much for me... I like the ID leagues where you get a DB, LB and DL, but to try and play every position every weeek was very frustrating breaking down the matchups. Good Luck, ~Bryun |

Thanks for the reply Bryun. I will see about grabbing Bernard immediately as he is still available.
Anyone have any opinions about Shaun Ellis, Kevin Carter, Kelly Gregg, Tommy Kelly, Brian Young, Jamal Williams or Darnell Dockett? They are all still available and either had respectable years last season or have had good years not too long ago... |
