Stanley's Cup Fantasy Hockey League, Year Three

OK boys, we all know what time it is.

Its time for the 2008-09 Stanley's Cup blowout fantasy hockey league. In 2006-07, Cheap Drunks won the league. In 2007-08, Bam's Flyers won. Who will it be this year?

As it has been for the past two years, the league will have 14 teams. We may decide to add 2 more teams, but that will be decided on by the league GMs.

As of right now, there are no open slots. If you were in the league last year, and you want to be in this year, please PM so I can post it here. Bammer I assumed you wanted to defend your title.The Yahoo! league isn't set up yet, but I anticipate having a ton of court hearings in the next few weeks so I wanted to get a jump on it.

If you know of a player who is not frequenting the board much but still wants to play, if you can give them a heads up it would be appreciated.

When I hear back from the players in the league, I will post here how many open slots there actually are. Please do not send me a PM yet (That means you HockeyJunkie).

The past two years this has not been a money league, if you guys want it, I'm game. In the past, the blood-thirsty competition has been enough. I hope we can get everyone else back (including those who got upset and threatened to unload their team last year). If not, I will post for new teams.

I will open up slots in a week or so, seeing if we can get the band back together first. Right now we have 0 slots available because I have only been notified by one player that they aren't returning and the guy who was wait listed last year gets first crack at it... its only fair.

Once the group is together, we will see how many openings there are and if we want to expand to 16.
