Fantasy Trade Opinions

Though I'm fed up with mlb.com's new format, I just completed a trade. This other person has been trying to get V-Mart from me for awhile and I have rejected all of his trade offers. So I made an offer and he accepted.
I gave up
V-mart
Ian Desmond
Ian kinsler

I recieved
Pablo Sandoval
Stephen Drew
Matt Wieters
I think it was a good trade. I'm open to opinions.

I'm siding more with the Martinez/Kinsler portion of the deal.

Fair enough. I already have Utley at second. I thought the upgrade at SS sealed the deal.

This trade doesn't even look close. You're giving up Vmart and Kinsler who are 2 studs for 3 average borderline starters.

The upgrade at SS was marginal at best but at the cost of a huge downgrade at C and uncertainty at 2B with Utley's situation. Before the trade you had an elite C, a healthy border elite 2B and a top 10 SS with potential.

Nope. Utley will be out for a bit. He may be a good player to have later in the season assuming he heals.

thanks for all the input. Today I compared everyones' point totals from last year and they were very close. I came out ahead, but by less than 25 points lol. Here's to hoping Wieters has a good year. I think he will with more protection in the Orioles' line-up. Even if the trade goes his way, it's not a bad team. My ESPN team for money is my main focus anyways. Now that's a good team IMO.

For what it's worth, I have never liked points leagues.
