My Keeper League team

Well, I am in a 12 team keeper league with 8 keepers.
I tried to make some trades, but apparently nobody likes to actually trade in this league.
Anyways, I ended up missing the live draft for personal reasons, and this is what I'm left with:
C - Carlos Ruiz
1B - Adam LaRoche
2B - Chone Figgins
3B - Michael Young
SS - Jose Reyes
LF - Bobby Abreu
CF - Josh Hamilton
RF - Andre Ethier
UTIL - Mike Stanton
UTIL - Brett Gardner
Bench:
Mitch Moreland
Lance Berkman
Michael Cuddyer
Hideki Matsui
Grady Sizemore
Jose Lopez
Jim Thome
Corey Hart
Jesus Montero

SP:
Mat Latos
Wandy Rodriguez
Dan Haren
Chadd Billingsley
Ubaldo Jimenez
RP:
Joe Nathan
Fernando Rodney

I desperately want to trade for a keeper quality 1B/3B, trading one of my pitchers and a bat for one.
What do you all think?

Trade Jimenez (injured) and LaRoche for a decent 1B.

I was actually kind of shocked Montero was available in free agency.
I had to miss the draft and I looked to see what top prospects were available and snatched him up.
I've dumped Thome and Matsui for Matt Harison and Alexi Ogando.
Now Hamilton's out and that severely hurts me. What also hurts is there is only 1 spot for the fricken DL in this league and I have so many guys with injuries.
Hamilton, Hart, Jimenez, Sizemore.
Brett Gardner will have to hold the fort in center til Sizemore gets healthy I guess.

Oh, also, one guy in the league has Adrian Gonzalez, Billy Butler and Joey Votto.
I sent him a request of Berkman and Ubaldo for Votto because I'm tired of waiting for him to respond back to me.

I've picked up Chris Iannetta, Jeff Franceour, Fernando Salas, Alexi Ogando and Julio Tehran by dumping Matsui, Cuddyer, Ruiz, Lopez and Thome.
So my team is now:

I'm in 8th place right now, I've been burned on my SP's sucking royally. Latos and Jimenez(both were keepers) are winless with ERA's over 4.50.
I'm thinking about trading Berkman and trying to see what I can get for him since he's on fire. Maybe I can package Berkman and Wandy to get a nice keeper.
